HMRC warns over fake tax rebates
HMRC has warned people to be vigilant against scammers stealing details through fake tax rebates. Fraudsters are contacting people via email and text message with "phishing" messages to persuade them to hand over bank details. HMRC received 84,549 phishing reports in March and requested 2,672 such phishing websites be taken down
